The Bright Circle team has been gearing up for the 4th International Barth Syndrome Foundation Conference in Clearwater, Florida. We’ll be videotaping these sessions as families, researchers and doctors from all around the world converge together to share their stories, research and findings on this extremely rare genetic disorder.

Testing equipment, making sure switchers and scan converters happily co-exist, as well as conducting site surveys and determining the best cameras to use are just some of the preparations we’ve been going through in the weeks leading up to the event.

Mastering the technical end is always important but understanding the subject matter and realizing the significance of what you’re undertaking and trying to accomplish brings more focus to the project at hand. Documenting events like this and sharing the information with families and doctors worldwide brings us closer to those in the trenches battling this disorder. It helps us see the importance of thinking things through, finding the best approach, and delivering a product that will impact others in a very positive manner.
